The Basketball Development Officer has been working with Tayside Musketeers (Dundee Sharks and Arbroath Musketeers clubs amalgamated) and the club has been chosen for the basketballscotland Future Clubz project. Club Development

The Basketball Development Manager is currently working with various clubs in Tayside & Fife on club specific development programmes. This will enable clubs to accredit either with Local Authorities or with clubbasketball (basketballscotland’s club accreditation scheme), or both.

Congratulations go to Dunfermline Reign and Dundee Sharks, who have completed all the necessary criteria and are both basketballscotland approved clubs. Dundee Sharks have also successfully gained the clubDundee Development Level award with Dundee City Council.

Other clubs currently operating a club development programme or working towards an accreditation mark are: Arbroath Musketeers, Menzieshill (Frews) Madsons, Perth Phoenix and Kinross Cavaliers.

Current or new basketball clubs in Tayside and Fife are invited to consult with the Basketball Development Manager to discuss running their own club development programme and gaining Local Authority and/or basketballscotland club accreditation.

Senior Men's and Women's Leagues
