Role of the Swimming Development Manager

The swimming development officer will lead the development of swimming in Tayside & Fife with a key focus on Clubs, Coaches, Volunteers, Facilities and Athletes below the Area Institute of Sport level. A strategic plan for the sport has been produced and implemented through working closely with Scottish Swimming and the local stakeholders ensuring that the infrastructure of the sport develops.

Swimming Development Manager

Eilidh McCall-Lawrie joined the SportTayside & Fife team as Scottish Swimming Regional Development Manager in June 2009.  Eilidh joined the team from Stirling where she spent three years working as the Volunteer Development Manager, and previously as a Youth Officer for Sport and Leisure with Edinburgh Council.  Eilidh has come from both a teaching and competitive swimming background , and volunteered at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games where she was lucky enough to watch the swimming medal success first hand.
