Regional Player Improvement Programme
We are currently working with scottishathletics on a new Regional Squad format which will be rolled out across Scotland. There will be a Tayside & Fife regional squad operating from this winter onwards. The exact details of the squad will be finalised in Mid-October; keep an eye on this site and the scottishathletics website for further news: www.scottishathletics.org.uk
The year ahead will see the strongest Fun in Athletics (Primary Sportshall) programme across Tayside & Fife yet. Angus is to add an additional Festival in Brechin to their successful programme for the first time, while Fife is to take on the programme fully for the first time. For further details, click here.
This year, for the first time, the Giant Heptathlon programme will conclude with a National Festival to decide the Champion School of Scotland. As in previous years a festival will take place in each of the four Local Authorities followed by a Tayside & Fife final. For further information, click here.
The finals of SprintDundee 2009 took place down Reform Street in Dundee on Saturday 22nd August as part of the city’s Lord Provosts Parade. This year’s event has seen heats taking place at eight venues across Dundee throughout July and August. For further information, click here.
