Milnathort and Forfar Golf Club have become the latest clubs to embrace the clubgolf programme and both are planning to deliver Stage 1 coaching to local primary school children this coming season. The clubs have already completed their child protection policies and are now in the process of qualifying volunteers from within the club to UKCC level 1 who will deliver the weekly coaching sessions to the participants.
Forfar Golf Club Secretary and Level 1 coach Stuart Wilson commented. Forfar Golf Club view clubgolf as a vital element in introducing potential new members to the golf club, who will hopefully become the lifeblood of the club for coming years.
