Athletics Inaugural Athletes of the Year Announced

The first winners of the Angus, Dundee and Perth & Kinross Athlete of the Year awards have been announced. The three winners each received a Trophy to keep for one year and a grant for £100. These awards were made possible by the kind donation from the START fund towards developing athletics in Tayside.

The three winners, pictured, of the awards came into the SportTayside & Fife offices to receive their awards. The awards are made according to where the athletes live, rather than which club they belong to. The awards were decided by votes cast by local coaches.
