As the RBS 6 Nations comes to an end Tayside and Fife can celebrate hosting Scotland in an unbeaten run of International matches. Four matches took place in the area throughout February and March with the Scotland U20 side kicking things off with a fantastic victory (18 – 17) over the much fancied Welsh, last years runners up, in McDiarmid Park Perth. This was followed up by a tight encounter again between the Scotland U20’s and their Italian counterparts with the Scotland boys coming good in the last few minutes of the match to seal a thrilling 14 – 10 victory on front of an ecstatic home ground at Dens Park in Dundee.

Congratulations to Bell Baxter High School from Cupar who, on Thursday 25th January, became the first state school to lift the Bell Lawrie Scottish Schools Cup since 1997.
