Scottish Hockey is amongst a number of national governing bodies linking up with Glasgow 2014’s ‘Sport Your Trainers’ campaign to show its support for the Commonwealth Games.
The inaugural ‘Sport Your Trainers’ day will take place on Monday 14 March 2011, and will continue on every Commonwealth Day until 2014. ‘Sport Your Trainers’ day is set to take the nation by storm as Scots all around the country, including business leaders, schoolchildren, politicians, office workers, and more cast off their traditional daily footwear and don their favourite trainers in support of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
