Working together for sport.

Her are some of the gymnasts from Kirkcaldy Gymnastics Club who collected over £700 for their two selected charities at this years annual sponsored obstacle course. The chosen charities were MND Scotland and CHAS.
The gymnasts are now looking forward to the Fife development apparatus competition this month and hosting our own annual floor and vault competition in March with clubs from Fife and all over Scotland attending.
Although all training sessions are currently full we have a waiting list for anyone wanting try out gymnastics and join a club that encourages exercise and participation. Just e-mail clubcoach@kirkcaldygymclub.org for waiting list enquiries and information about the club.
Balwearie GC.
"Balwearie Gymnastics organised a BBC Children In Need fundraising event in partnership with PeachyKeen, a *Kirkcaldy based sports company who promote fun, fitness and sustainability.* in which we raised £1731.51.
Our sponsored static cycle challenge saw over 150 gymnasts, their parents and coaches attempting to cycle the distance from Kirkcaldy to London over 10 hours. It was an extremely tough and exhausting challenge but very worthwhile with a fantastic amount of money being raised for Children In Need"
Phoenix Forfar GC:
Phoenix Forfar GC recently received £4253.50 from Angus Community Grant Scheme to purchase an Air Floor to help the kids with their tumbling skills. This will help retain teenage gymnasts in the club and keep them healthy and active.
The Club are still looking for a General or MA level 2 or above to take over our boy’s class.
Tiggers Trampoline and DMT club:
The club were recently successful in gaining Awards for All Grant, for £7,500 to purchase a new competition trampoline. This will enhance the clubs prestige within Tayside & Fife and continue to develop all competitors within the club.
